compiz-start script does not work

Great Tutorial, but...

I found that the compiz-start script didn't work for me. I used

#!/bin/bash
cgwd & compiz --replace gconf decoration wobbly fade minimize cube rotate zoom scale move resize place switcher &

instead. This worked, and the themer works too. Before I used this script my titlebar never worked either.

graphic break(?)

Features Include

nvidia 7900 gs

i don't know what should i do

and this is my first time use linux things

my graphic is broken after do "2.7 Post-install configuration"

my laptop is working well until do "2.4 Checking system" without error

and expcet graphic break, xgl/compiz works great

please help me

Hi, im new. How do i know where to find the kernel that matches my processor? I have done everything. Even the emerald symbol shows in the panel but when i try to change the windows manager, it flikers for a bit then goes back to normal. What do i do?
