Overview
The Sources List in a debian based system tells apt where to look for application repositories. A Graphican User Interface for the Sources List can be found under System > Administration > Software Sources. You will be prompted to enter your password. Then to add an additional software repository all you have to do is click on the 'Third-party Software' tab, click add and fill out the information. You can also add a CD repository through this interface.
