Overview
This article describes how to upgrade your System76 machine to Ubuntu 7.10 "Gutsy Gibbon".
Upgrading to Gutsy
First, follow the official Ubuntu upgrade process. Your System76 driver repository will be disabled during the upgrade process.
After upgrading go to System → Administration → Software Sources. Choose the Third-Party Software tab and turn on the check box next to http://planet76.com/repositories/.
Run System76 Driver
Run the System76 driver after upgrading your system.
Make sure you have version 2.1.3 of the System76 driver. To check, open the System76 Driver - System → Administration → System76 Driver. Click the About button. The driver version should be 2.1.3. If not download and install the latest driver from here http://planet76.com/repositories/.
Go to System → Administration → System76 Driver. Click the Install Drivers tab, then click Install. Reboot and you're all done!
