Overview
This How To is for users of Creative WebCam. The How To is specifically tested with the Creative WebCam Notebook USB camera but should work with all Creative USB web cameras. If you have different results please modify the wiki to tell us about it.

Add the EasyCam repository
From your terminal type
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Add to the bottom of the list
deb http://blognux.free.fr/debian unstable main
Save and Close gedit

Install EasyCam
From your terminal type in
sudo apt-get update
Once that is finished type
sudo apt-get install easycam
Once that is finished
sudo apt-get install camorama

Run EasyCam to install the SPCA driver for the camera
From your terminal type in
sudo easycam
Select the camera from the list and continue

Using your camera
Go to Applications >> Graphics >> Camorama WebCam Viewer
