Some System76 laptops feature built in cameras. This articles describes installing drivers for your camera and using applications to capture images and chat online using your camera.

Run the System76 Driver to install you camera drivers

• System > Administration > System76 Driver Installer

Install Applications to Use Your Camera

Camorama

Camorama allows you to view the image captured by your camera and take pictures. To install cut and paste the following line into your terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal).

sudo apt-get install camorama

Kopete

Kopete is an instant messaging client that supports MSN, Yahoo, AOL, and many others. Kopete also supports webcams. To install cut and paste the following line into your terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal).

sudo apt-get install kopete
